Myers Shagged With Lawsuit

Executives at Universal Pictures aren’t laughing at Mike Myers these days. They’re suing. The film company claims in court papers that the Austin Powers star failed to live up to a legal agreement to make the big-screen version of the Dieter character he created and played while on Saturday Night Live. Myers stood to make $20 million for Dieter, the tale of a German talk show host whose pet monkey is stolen. The comic actor said he was shocked at the lawsuit and that he wanted the film delayed because “the script was unworkable.”
